Saluda River Club Supports Anti-Bully Program

Saluda River Club was proud to hold an anti-bully class for children ages 5-12 this past Friday, March 30th at the Chickawa Outdoor Center. Hosted by Carter’s Academy of Self-Defense, there were ten kids who participated in the class, which taught effective self-defense techniques in order to resolve, handle and stop conflict. The program also helps children to understand self-control, courtesy and discipline in order to prevent any problems.

In addition to learning valuable skills, the kids had fun together during the two-hour class and enjoyed light snacks and refreshments afterwards.
