Saluda River Club Supports CCRA Flood Relief Efforts
At the recent annual President’s Reception hosted by Central Carolina REALTORS® Association (CCRA), Kara Powell, Director of Business Development for Saluda River Club, the award-winning masterplanned community near Columbia, presented the association with a significant contribution to help local REALTORS® affected by the devastating flood in October.
“This donation will go directly to local REALTORS® in need of immediate assistance,” says Tom Bolton, Communications and Government Affairs Director with the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association.
Kara Powell, who has diligently served as vice chair of CCRA’s Service Committee since 2013, explains that traditionally, during Saluda River Club’s annual Fall Open House, one local real estate agent has the opportunity to win a cruise. However, this year, instead of providing a cruise, Saluda River Club’s leadership deemed it more appropriate to donate to local flood relief.
With approximately 1,300 members, CCRA has been serving real estate professionals in the Midlands since 1913.
