Chestnuts and Warm Memories
When you gather together around one of Saluda River Club’s large outdoor fire pits on the Riverfront near the Chickawa Outdoor Center you can roast chestnuts, or toast marshmallows, or just watch the fire sparks fly off into the night – but what you are really doing is making lots of new, warm memories with your family and friends.
Year-round, big stacks of wood are ready and waiting for Saluda River Club residents and their friends to build a cozy fire and enjoy an evening of camaraderie and great stories. This time of year, when it is crisp and wintry outside, just bundle up in a big sweater or bring a blanket and enjoy a great outdoor fire, almost right in your own back yard!
The free use of these ‘modern campfires’ is on a first-come, first-served basis – no reservations are necessary.
“All you have to do is build a fire and light it!” says Lisa Smith, Marketing Manager for Saluda River Club. “Of course, our residents are asked to make sure all fire is safely extinguished before they go home.”
So – if you are thinking of something fun and family-friendly to do during the upcoming holiday season, why not enjoy another one of Saluda River Club’s outstanding amenities: the fire pits are waiting!
