First Baby Born in Saluda River Club Turns Five
Bishop Cox, the first baby born in Saluda River Club, arrived on Super Bowl Sunday, February 7, 2010. Instead of watching the game with neighbors at the Village Club as planned, his parents Zach and Kim were at the hospital surrounded by lots of SRC love. Developer Andy White’s wife Debbie was in the hospital room as the Doula and agent Ted Johnson’s wife was a nurse in the delivery room. When they brought the new baby home, they were greeted by a front porch gift from developer Bill Theus.
Kim said, “From our first day, when developer Walter Taylor popped in to welcome us as we moved in, we knew SRC would be special.
“We have loved watching Bishop grow, learn, play and explore in our neighborhood and have enjoyed watching the neighborhood grow as well. In the beginning, there was only one other couple here, the Blairs who have since been transferred. Over the years Saluda River Club has become filled with precious neighbors and friends.”
Bishop’s family- Zach, Kim, Bishop, sister Monroe and dog Chewy (the first doggie resident of SRC) – have lived in the neighborhood since January 2009.
Happy birthday, Bishop!
