Here’s What’s Happening Around the Saluda River Club in April!

March Activities:

Mondays, Preschool Treble Class, 10 AM, COC Lounge
Mari Hazel with Freeway Music will be teaching a basic music principles class designed for children that are ages 2-4. The class will meet weekly for 30 minutes in the lounge at the Chickawa Outdoor Center. Classes cost $60 per month and you can sign up by visiting their site or calling Sara Ann at Freeway Music at 803-447-1540 or e-mail at sara@freewaymusic.net.

Tuesday 3/31 Book Club at The Village Club at 7:30pm
Book Club members will read Shanghai Girls by Lisa See in March. Future selections include Dreams of Joy by Lisa See and Maude by Donna Mabry. New members are welcome to attend. Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month.

Coming in April:

Friday 4/3 Adult Social at the Village Club 7pm
Adult Social is the first Friday of every month. Bring your favorite adult beverage, a small snack to share, and mingle with your neighbors! Let’s hang out on the pool deck if it’s warm!

Saturday 4/4 Kayaking Season Starts
Kayaking Season is open on the weekends in April!

Monday 4/6 Junior Women’s Club Meeting at The Village Club at 6pm
The Junior Women’s Club is the first Monday of every month. Join this dynamic group of ladies as they emphasize issues dealing with: education, health, home life, and community service projects–aiming to improve the Lake Murray community.

Thursday 4/9 Isagenix at The Chickawa Outdoor Center from 5-8pm

Saturday 4/11 Spring Yard Sale 7-11am
Get rid of some things you don’t need and make a little cash! We’ll place an ad in The State Newspaper, post the event on Facebook, and place a sign out at the front of the community. Just bring your tables to the Village Green lawn. If you live on River Club Drive from the main entrance to the Village Green, you can set out your things for sale along the street.

Thursday 4/16 Men’s Card Night at The Village Club at 7pm
Men’s Card Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a snack and at least $10 for the pot.

Sunday 4/19 Spring Shopping at the Chickawa Outdoor Center from 5:30-7pm
If you would like to be a vendor, please call April Donley at 803-507-2583. Join us for Spring Shopping at the Chickawa Outdoor Center featuring vendors like Designs by April Southern Script, Pink Palmetto Boutique, Posture, Carolina Fin, Origami Owl Jewelry, and many more!

Saturday 4/25 Kids Consignment Sale at The Chickawa Outdoor Center from 9am-12pm
Come join the Mommies of Saluda River Club for our Annual Children’s Consignment Sale. We will have gently used clothes (sizes newborn to girls/boys), children’s shoes, baby items and toys.

If you would like to reserve a spot, please email activities@saludariverclub.com (you will need to bring your own display table.)

Tuesday 4/28 Book Club at The Village Club at 7:30pm
New members are welcome to attend. Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month.
