The Great Outdoors: Where Neighbors Become Friends
A wise man once said, “One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.” That’s why the shared common spaces at Saluda River Club are so important to the quality of life we’ve built here. Look around our beautiful community and you’ll see a variety of nature-infused locations that invite neighbors to come together. And when neighbors come together, beautiful friendships are made. Here are some of our favorite outdoor spaces at Saluda River Club where you just might meet the neighbor who becomes your best friend.
The Dog Park:
All dogs (and their owners!) need to exercise and socialize, and our fenced dog park is a popular gathering spot for the many dogs and their families who live in Saluda River Club. The dog park offers water for the dogs, stocked waste bags and a generous space for the pets to run around and explore. The dog park is surrounded by tall trees and some comfortable benches for the dog lovers, who enjoy watching their dogs play while catching up with their neighbors and making new friends.
Outdoor Firepits:
Enjoy the warmth, crackle, and smell of a campfire year-round at Saluda River Club’s outdoor fire pits. In the summer months, enjoy fireflies and starlight twinkle as you kick back and relax in the company of your neighbors at the end of the day. In the fall, you’ll enjoy warming your hands over the fire and telling (not too scary) ghost stories. Just don’t forget the marshmallows!
Riverside Swing:
Is there anything better than a riverside swing to get a person thinking deep thoughts? Share those deep thoughts with your neighbors and you might find you’ve made yourself a lifelong friend. Whether you’re bundled up on a chilly winter afternoon or cooling down on a warm summer evening, the swings offer a peaceful getaway. You’ll love the view of the river and will probably spot some wildlife as well.
Playgrounds:
The kids need some activity and you need to get out of the house. But nobody needs to get in the car. Strap on the sneakers, grab the kids and head to the Saluda River Club jungle gym, a natural climbing and play structure with bridges, swings and a slide. Call a neighbor and plan to meet at the jungle gym—fun and fresh air for everyone!
Once you’ve met your neighbors and made some new friends, be sure to join them at the variety of inside activities available to residents of Saluda River Club. Be sure to check our events calendar for a complete list of everything happen in our community.
