Join your neighbors for Aqua Fit on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Village Club at 6pm.
August Activities:
Tuesday 8/21 Ladies Bunco at the Village Club 7pm
Come for a night of fun with the ladies of SRC who get together on the 3rd Tuesday of every month to play bunco. We start arriving @ 7pm and play till 8:30. Bring $5 for the winners pot……never played, don’t worry, there are a few veterans to teach the rules and get the games started. Please join us for Bible Study at the Village Club on Wednesday nights.
Thursday 8/23 Sseko Ladies Night Out at the Village Club 6-8pm
Ladies Night Out! Please join us for a Sseko Trunk Show where you’ll hear stories of empowerment and hope and experience quality hand-crafted products! You can expect to hear stories of our women in Uganda, have some yummy food and wine, and spend time with women you love!
Tuesday 8/28 Book Club at the Village Club 7:30pm
The book club will be reading, “Beartown” by Fredrick Backman. Book club discussions are held at the Village Club at 7:30 on the last Tuesday of the month. Please join neighbors, Kelly Spears and Jennifer Horne, as they UNMASK beautiful SKIN with Rodan+Fields. They will speak on the four main skincare concerns, which include: acne, sun damage, anti-aging and dry sensitive skin. In addition, hear from a local Private Equity Advisor that will share on the recent partnership between TPG and Rodan+Fields. There will be festive bites, fun beverages and fabulous PRIZES…must be present to win! For every guest that brings a friend you will receive an extra entry. POKER GAME!!! Lose a few old presidents & win some new friends. Low stakes, High fun. No experience preferred. Men’s Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage and a snack.
Friday 9/21 Boomers and Beyond at the Village Club 5:30pm
Boomers (both singles and couples over 50) meet at the Village Clubhouse the third Friday of each month at 5:30pm. Bring an appetizer to share and the beverage of your choice. If you would like to play left, right, center, bring three one dollar bills per person.
Saturday 9/22 Fall Yard Sale 7-11am
Get rid of some things you don’t need and make a little cash! We’ll place an ad in The State Newspaper, post the event on Facebook, and place a sign out at the front of the community. Just bring your tables to the Village Green lawn. Or, set out your things at your house.
